Hi All

Esme was mated last weekend, on Day 11 (slip) and Day 12 (tie). My query is that she is now still discharging, and it is a fairly dark blood (not smelly). Is this normal or cause for concern? She is fine in herself and acting normally. I think a trip to the vet may be in order tomorrow, but she absolutely hates going there. Today is day 17.

Her season would continue as normal if mated or not, also my girls discharge always colours up again after mating.  If you are worried then pop her along to your vet, she may need a course of Anti-biotics.
