Does anyone know the name of those dog nail clippers that sees through the nail and flashes red if you are near the quick but green if it is safe to cut? I know I've seen them mentioned as available in the UK but I cannot find anything whilst Googling. They sell them in all chemists in Sweden but they charge the ridiculous price of well over £50 so I didn't want to pick up a pair when I was home! Grateful for any help.

I think they are called Quickfinders or something like that.

why not try the normal nail clippers and take off what you feel safe doing and then use the electric nail grinder.they are good. i know its not what you origanally wanted but im a groomer and i would sometimes get it wrong too.
take off little by little and then file the edges i hope this helps.if its an concelation (cant spell it lol) i have never been happy doing nails they all grow differently.xxx
