Tesco had a good deal on their 2kg bags of Muesli...so I got a few bags with a mind to use them in a recipe for cookies, cakes or whatever....
Only trouble is I was looking for Muesli cookie recipes and most are meant for muesli from scratch....not ready made stuff....
Anyone have any ideas on what I can bake with it or a recipe page that would have uses for ready made muesli?
Cheers

As long as it's the fairly oaty/fruity loose type muesli, just make sure you have your weights right for the recipes and carry on regardless, I would think? If all else fails, make flapjacks!

What about using them in flapjacks? I don't know what the method would be, but I assume you could replace the oats in flapjacks with muesli :)
eta - you got there before me Lily!
Agree I put a load in with maple syrup and butter ect stuck it in the oven and the lot went as soon as it cooled down enough to eat!

I think as Freewayz has so much muesli, they should send us alllllll flapjacks LOL.

Well I found a cookie recipe and tried it out on my son. He said they were tasty. So maybe Monday when I'm off work again I'll try the flapjacks idea as they sound real nice too.
As I was baking anyway I also made almond and plum jam cookies....mummmm very nice....it was a normal almond cookie recipe but I made a dent in the middle and filled it with plum jam....and dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon...
Son liked those too...
Hubby is away so he's not likely to get any because I am taking them to training class tonight as a treat for halftime.
:-)
I think I know what my friends are getting for Christmas....(COOKIES!!! )
