Am helping organise a charity do for the end of November and need approx 170 christmas crackers!!

Does anyone know where I can get this amount from at relatively next to nothing? Or know of any companies that may be willing to donate some for the good cause?

I expect the pound shops will sell cheap crackers, when i used to work in a care home for young adults one of the staff made a phonecall to homebase as some of the guys wanted to paint there bedrooms, homebase said we could go and get as many cans of paint we wanted from a lot they had out the back that had been discontinued, i find a lot of the big companys are willing to help with charitys (especially if a local paper may cover the story)
