Im looking for ideas....

I have 4 friends stopping over tomorrow night and me and the OH are wanting to plan a halloween scare! They are all into horrors (and Im not at all) so enjoy the odd fright so does anyone have any ideas what we can do??

Goodness knows - you need to talk to my OH!  He has already scared our (nearly) 5 year old granddaughter by pretending he has cut off his finger - with fake finger and blood.  Poor child wouldn't go into the room where the fake finger was after that.  He scared her with a mask the year before - one of those old men ones with long white hair.  He has also done the eye falling out routine too this week.  I know he should be kept away from children - goodness knows how our two grew up so sensible!  Last night just about topped it when he got Meg involved too.  He crept out through the conservatory after dark and Meg spotted movement at the kitchen window and gave a really I'm frightened bark which sent my blood cold!  Our granddaughter had already sussed her grandfather out and knew he was up to something so wasn't as frightened as I was.

My ex boyfriend once stood behind me when I was brushing my teeth and when I looked in the mirror I absolutely screamed! (He wasnt wearing a mask either! lol) Its one of those things you see in horrors!

Well as a first timer in Australia, I can tell you it's truly scary seeing little one's all dressed up knocking to 'trick or treat' in 28 degrees of heat and brilliant sunshine............. very bizarre :-)

I would turn the lights off and watch any of the Grudge films. Urrgggh, makes me shiver just thinking about them

I scared the life out of the trick or treaters themselfs tonight was a right Giggle,
as the were coming up my garden path i had left the front door open but no lights on and i was peering thu the curtins and when they got close to the door i made a great sounding wild cat noise Arrrrayyyy, THEY ALL FROZE !! not sure if they should come any closer then when they came a little closer i did it louder they ended up running and screaming up the road, then i started laughing my *rse off , i called them back and gave them some sweets for making me laugh so much lol,

Chelzea you are wicked!  Mind you I wish that I had done something like this after having piles of kids at my door either grabbing handfulls and making off without a thankyou or looking down their noses because I haven't given them enough!  Only my neighbour's children either side and one of the Mum's said thankyou.  As for fireworks - poor Meg has done her jelly impression every night for the last 3 nights.  Sick of it already.   I am wondering what the OP did to scare her guests in the end!!!  We all sat down to our meal and found little crawlies on the table - my son said how appropriate for Hallowe'en - a hot plate on a cork mat had driven out piles of little creatures which obviously had been living in there.  Out go my cork mats!

The girls didnt end up staying over because originally we were going to a horse show today (Sunday) but because of the weather we decided not to go. In the end we had decided what we were going to do...

My OH was going to record some spooky sounds and get his little sister (whos 10) to laugh, cry and make funny noises on the tape. We were then going to pop it under the floor boards in the living room (where the 2 girls would have been sleeping) and set it to play about 1am. We were gonna make sure the electricity was off too. Me and the 3 others were gonna sit at the top of the stairs waiting for the fun to start.
