I'm 19 yr old woman living in Birmingham Midlans in England.
A friend of mine was in the Phillipines and was determined to get me a present. He spotted a little short haired Chiuhahua in a pet shop. He tried very hard to see if he could bring it over to England but unfortunatly it was too expensive, what with all the papers etc.
So now he's determined to get me a puppy from England in a week or so. I am obviously extatic, and also very upset the last one didn't work out. So i am trying to help him look for breeders around the uk, preferably either London or Midlands.
I even read up on looking after Chi's and how to care for them, as i've been waiting to have a puppy for over 10 years now. I've been enjoying learning about this breed and i think i've fallen in love with them already. I even went to my nans friends house where they have a tiny little long haired chi, and it's wonderful. A great example of one i would like :)
Shall i give specification? well i live with my parents, and i have a cat. I would much prefer a smaller chi, like maybe 4lb or something? long hair prefered.
my e-mail is webmistress@loveable.com
Someone please try and help me, as my heart is set on this.
thankyou.

Hi guest, I wish you success with your search, BUT there are a few things to consider first Im afraid. You say you are 19 years old. Do you work full time, or are you still a student? Whichever you are, the pup is going to be without for a long time during the day. Are your parents prepared to house train, feed, and clean up after the little pup while you are out? Have you worked out the cost of keeping even a tiny dog, after all, it isnt just the purchase price? Also, chis are real little characters, but can be quite pushy too. Have you considered the best way to socialise the pup and the cat? Maybe buying a crate would help with this little problem. You have wanted a pup for such a long time, I can understand your eagerness, but please think through all the problems that could arise, before you go ahead.

There's a champ. show in your area on Friday, you could always pop there, if you are able and chat to some of the people there. Also there's discover dogs in London in November.
