I am in charge of making questions for a pub quiz. I am not doing too badly BUT...I am getting stuck on the song lyrics.
Being from the USA originally I find myself thinking of bands that were probably not popular here. And to top it off (shhh) it turns out I'm not to hip now a days.
Any good websites and/lists of current and past songs that most folk would know (if they thought about it hard enough). It needs to be a good mix of new and old...as a lot of different ages will be there.
I just can't think.
I have to have 10 questions.
It can be name the band/song/original artist based on the lyrics.

Now to think up some science and sport..:-)

This website lists every UK chart number 1 single since the 1950's to present.  That might give you a list of 'popular' songs to start from then you can just Google for the lyrics to set the questions.

Hope this helps :)

Just google 'song lyrics' and you will be presented with lots of options.  I love song lyric quizes.  Especially if the quiz master (?) reads them in a completly different way to how they are sung, in a dead pan boring voice!
