Topic Dog Boards / Showing / A poo clinker for my groomer
- By Pinky Date 26.09.09 20:59 UTC
We're off to the groomers tomorrow, that's my troop of 6 on their 3 monthly visit.
The girls we use are good and they open especially on a Sunday to handle my gang in one go.

So what am I doing this afternoon, I've got the old chap in the bath with the shower head on his bum trying to remove a monstrous poo clinker, I couldn't take the embarresment of having the ladies seeing his arse look like that  :(

I've been doing regular brushing with all of the girls since last session but the old chap, a recent rescue jobbie is not too keen on my administrations with the brush  :(

So do groomers mind the odd bum hanger on or am I  being silly?

They'll have seen much worse than an odd clinker I'm sure!

IT's not a problem at all! :)  Ask the groomer to clip a gully from anus to between back legs.  It won't show under the tail and will help to avoid the problem. :)

I frequently get them in like that, most owners ask me to trim short around there anyway. One lady arrived absolutely mortified - she'd rushed home to pick the dog up (a bichon!) and bring him to me, to discover he'd had an upset tummy and then sat in it, and she couldn't do anything about it of course. Usually I brush out thoroughly before bathing, but the smell was so bad I had to get him straight in the bath, poor little boy! So a little dried piece doesn't faze me at all after that! :-D

Collected them all yesterday afternoon, all looking stunning :)

The old chap is supporting a dashing short back and sides to the 'bum hole' and the girls have a delicate little trim to protect their delicate noses :)
