I am looking to buy my GSD a nice leather pet lead and also a new training lead.  I haven't seen Accolade Leather around and wonder if they are now out of business?  And googling I can't seem to find anything that is quite right.  Rather that keep searching I though there might well be one or two people here who have bought recently.

have you tried a company called luxway canine supplies if you google it you will get the address they have a excellent range of leather leads or if you have a saddler near you do as we have done and get them to make one to your requirements.debby

For training leads i have found the Halti ones to be the best, they are very soft and not had any issues with my hands from my boys pulling.

What type of leather lead are you looking for? Show type lead or a thicker walking lead?

Thanks all, I will take a think - I had forgotten Luxways do leather.  The training lead is for obedience work so it is the double length leather one.  I guess for pet only I am looking about 3/4" width.

Accolade Leather was one that has suffered in the recession and didn't survive :(

Yes they were. Their products were top class too. Shame.

Yep all mine have Luxway collars.  Bought the youngest one has one from Essenjay same kind of collar, looks identical.
