Hello, on the 9 oct we have been married for 10 years. 1st question is what is the symbol? and 2nd question is, what would you do to celebrate - have friends around (we are in the middle of building works) but been friends with at least 2 couples for many years and they take us as we come and are comfortable in eachothers company, go for a meal, go for a night away just the 2 of us without the 3 kids, what would you do or buy for my other half etc ? any suggestions would be great

Aww congrat's. Just realised that it's my parents 49th WA on the 7th October!
Sorry I'm no help on what symbol but google would be able to :)

congrats :) 2 years ago it was our 10th wa, sadly my husband was working away so did not do anything really :( i have got the list somewhere of symbols, but i sure google can help x. I would have loved to have been out for a lovely meal, maybe with friends, maybe next year! :)

arrhh thanks, i'll google it and see what card i have to be buying the OH. Don't know what to do really. Normally we might of had a night away because it to the 10- my Mum would of had the kids and dogs for us, but because of the building works not sure weather to delay it a little bit. Thinking maybe on the lines that because the friends know we are having stuff done etc and because we havent got to the knock through stage with the dust and mess yet then maybe we can overcome it and have a sort of nice night with friends around etc to celebrate as it where

10th anniversary is TIN - so it looks like Beans on Toast and a tin opener :-D :-D . Congratulations though!! Hope you have a good day.

Congrats on your forthcoming anniversary. For our 10th we left kids with parents and hopped over to Paris via Eurostar for a lovely 4 day mini break. Even went to Disneyland and acted like a right pair of kids! Next year will be our 20th (can't believe it) and we may go on a cruise if our parents will look after kids and dogs like last time. Enjoy!

thanks for that, yes beans on toaast it may well be if i keep spending all the building budget on fancy baths and taps etc ! Ha. We will do something, and hopefully enjoy the day whatever, might get a weekend away in this country to celebrate and get away from everything which would be nice, nice relax, walks, chill, good food and wine - do i sound convincing !!!!

It was our 22nd Wedding Anniversary on the 17th, OH worked days 7am - 7pm, I work evenings 5pm - 10pm, so finally got to see him at 10.15pm, oh well maybe next year.....lol.

We recently had our 32nd WA and we both forgot...how terrible.
It was my mum bringing some flowers to our house for us..that reminded me. Good old mum.

arrhh so when your mum reminded you with the flowers did you both feel guilty or did you then organise something to chill out and have a nice relax time together
