I can't believe what I've just read. I feel sick at the thought that one of my dogs could end up treated like this, as I had always thought I would have them cremated when the time came.

apperantly the crem owners said that they had recently been burgled, but police said no burglaries at pet crem had been reported.

Its a horrible thing for both dog and owner.
i read about simmaler things happerning in a mag (either 'dogs today' or 'your dog') they were saing that most vets dont check out where they send the animals and just go by who are the cheapest. They were talking about a group for pet crems where if a crem wants to join they must meet certain critira first. i cant rember what the group is called but im sure someone on here will know it.
I dont let my vets do it for me i take mne to a local one where the man seems verry nice. Allthough i do still wonder.

My vets use the Pet Crematorium run by my friend(of 30 + years)& as she works for the vets as a receptionist, this would certainly never happen with her Crematorium. They aren't the cheapest, but the only local one that actually does individual cremations. They aren't members of any group, but they have to be.
