Just wondering if anyone can give me opinions on a car or may have to be a van that can be fitted out easily with 3 or 4 compartments either side by side or on top of each other.  Is there a particular model anyone has good/bad experiences of? If so where did you buy it from or which company is best/cheapest for kitting it out?

We have a Renault Trafic for the dogs, it has 4 huge Guardsman cages, two at the bottom and two on top.  We measured the inside of the van in the showroom when we ordered ours and phoned Athag (Guardsman cages) and they custom built them for us, they aren't the cheapest but are superb. About 15 years ago we were involved in an accident on the M6 in a Peugeot estate with a double Guardsman with two Boxers in it, we were in a queue in the fast lane when a woman came careering down the road and crashed into the back of us, the car was a write off but the cage and Boxers survived!!  A testament to their strength and safety.  We've had a Guardsman cage in every new car we've had over 20+ years and wouldn't buy anything else.  It's like everything else, you get what you pay for. The Renault too is ideal for the job. 

There was a company advertising in the Dog World I think last year or earlier this year who sold vans already kitted out but sorry can't remember who they were, maybe someone else will remember.

I have a Peugeot Expert that has a 4 way split with caging installed by Mick Tozer.  Brililant van and the caging is wonderful.  Plently of room still with the caging in it.
