We are due to get our new pup in 3 weeks and would like to get a pen rather than a crate...as im not keen on crates.
My other dog will be there when i pop out,so thought a pen would do the job to keep them seperate for a while...untill she is a bit older and wiser.

Any thoughts as to what is the best type to get...i dont want it to fall over if she jumps against it.
So would like good quality please.

We use a child's playpen, it is metal bars type, with six 'panels', so you can either have it in octagon shape or rectangle.  I did borrow a puppy playpen off dog club once, but it wasn't half as solid as the child one.

I have two Croft Freedom Pens and join them together, so my new pup is safe and can't get up to any mischief when I'm out

I don't know if mine were croft freedom pens but I bought 2 from ebay and joined them together to make a giant pen that was 4' high so neither dog could jump it.  peace of mind and mess contained in one area - bliss!
