I already have a great GSD he is 5 years old.
I am looking for another GSD.

This may seem a question coming from a loving GSD owner but with not alot of knowledge about the History of the breed. What I am loking for is a large GSD, big boned without the sloping back, ie I beleive more of a spanish bred GSD a squarer back.

I spoke to a avid GSD breeder once at the New Forest Show in the New Forest and took my GSD who has what she called 'Banana back', although I was very put out and upset as all the GSD's are bred like that she says that there are heavier breeds with a much straighter back.

Can you help and I hope this makes sense to you what will I be looking for?
