Hi All

I expect you have read my posts on here before about Robbie my westie who is now nearly 1 yr old, he was castrated about 5 months ago because of his constant marking in the house and i posted on here recently about him still marking when he goes into other peoples houses with or without dogs, we are going on holiday next year for 2 weeks and the breeder has offered to have him instead of putting him into kennels at the time of offering i said that would be great as he loves it over there and loves playing with her bitches.
Over the past few weeks at dog training his constant marking in the hall has become a problem and when we were talking to the dog trainer about Robbie she said it may not be a very good idea him going back to the breeders next year for 2 weeks because he may get into too much of a habit of marking in her house and then continue doing it when he comes back home, i know he cocks his leg quite a bit  when he goes over to her for his haircut but the breeder said she doesn't think its a big problem and that he would still do it just as much in kennels but i am not sure whether this is right or not?
Could it be that once he is there he may stop doing it as the days go by of living with the other dogs? Unless of course 1 of them is in season.

Just wondered what your thoughts were otherwise i will have to look into a good kennels in our area to book him into.

Thanks
Helen
