Just out of curiosity really I was wondering how many anaesthetics some peoples dogs have had and whether they get more nervous with each one?  My dog is 3 and has already had four :-O and looking at the way his knee is going he is likely to need another one and I'm anxious about it already :(

My Chows have had multiple anaesthetics, 7 or 8 I think and it's always a worry.  I did ask one vet and he said the first was always the biggest worry as you don't know if they will have a reaction to it.  If they don't react the first time then it's not likely that they will next time. 

Just what I was told.
