My wee dog is in his first obedience competition on Saturday...we've been practicing and doing fairly well. We are doing pre-beginners and beginners. About two years ago he had an operation for a luxating patella.....so he is sitting on the sofa playing with his rope toy and I call him for bed....what did he do??? Hit his knee off a side table as he jumped off the sofa....came squealing on three legs...his bad leg out behind him....gave him a massage but he's still limping. :(...he is gong to be on very strict rest tomorrow and only allowed out for training on ed and Thurs. I would hate to have to miss the show... (when he injured his knee last time he was just about to get entered in agility...starting to think he could be pulling sickies to avoid showing..:-) )
Send him good vibes ...so his knee is ok and he does well.
Cheers

Loads of good vibes coming your way from all of us here, good luck for saturday
Well today was the big day and we managed with no more injuries..:-)
Freeway got 7th place in pre-beginners (out of 12) and 10th n beginners (out of 17) most of the points taken off were my fault for having the lead to tight....but all in all not too bad for his first time out....:-)
He got a bit of cake and some of my chicken burger as an extra reward....
So now we know what to expect ......on to sign up for our next show..
Whoo hooo
Cheers
well done , onwards and upwards for you both.

Excellent start. Well done
