Hi
I have the opportunity to go on holiday in a couple of weeks. In the past one of my daughters would come to stay to look after my dogs but she has recently moved to Ireland so obviously is not able to be here. My other daughter as her own home and dog but between her and her partner she has said she will take care of my dogs. She said she will stay at my house all day and leave late evening. I can arrange for them to be let out again before bed time but it means they will be alone in the house all night, would any of you be happy with this kind of arrangement for your dogs? I would rather them be in their own home than kennels but I will not go on holiday if I think it is not right for them.
Thanks
jane

If they were in kennels they'd probably be left unattended from about 6pm (or earlier) till 7am or 8am, so being left late at night in their own home would be better.

Thank you for your reply. I had thought about that. I'm sure they will be fine but you know what its like, you think no-one looks after them like yourself and I couldn't stand it if I thought they were unhappy. I will not book anything though until I'm absolutely 100% happy they will be ok.
