I want to crate train my doberman pup when i get him. Am i better buying a small crate 30 inch and then buying bigger one as and when. guessing he will out grow very quickly. Breeder suggested crate to help with toilet training as only have communal court yard.
I would have liked a bigger one that comes with divider but can't seem to find one.
Also would it be ok to transport a puppy home in a crate? Or should he be in something better? Not sure what most people use but breeder 3.5 hours drive.
Thanks

Have a look here They do loads of different sizes & you get free bedding, divider & bolt on bowl, three doors so one can be left open(up & over)so no accidents walking into it !

Bringing a puppy home I use a cat carrier for my Cavaliers & BCs, but any GSD would need a slightly bigger one as would a Dobermann, I've lent out soft crates to people to bring their puppies home in.

All my dogs travel in crates in the car as a normal way of travelling
