My Tassimo coffee machine has broken, and since i am a bit of a caffeine freak i want to get another machine but it's deciding which one. I was really happy with my Tassimo but see this opportunity for a change and something different. I have been looking at the Krups Dolce Gusto machine which is just less than £100. Don't really want to be getting into the price range over the £100 mark, so any advice or recommendation before i go out and purchase one would be fab. thanks

I had a Dolce Gusto for Christmas off my other half and I love it! It's soooo easy to use and the variety of capsules is good. It comes apart really well so you can give it a good clean. The only things is the capsules are quite expensive but then I think they are for all machines of this type.

arh thanks for that good to know someone who has got one and thinks its good before i shell out the near on £100. Yes i think you are right about the capsules they are sometimes expensive, i know for my tassimo i just used to stock up on them when they were on special offer in the supermarket

have you considered the Senseo? They're not bad at all. We bought one for our friends, and they love it, and i must say, the coffee's pretty good. We've got a nespresso machine, have had them for years, which would be my recommendation, but the 'basic' (ie non milk frothing) models are just shy of £100 - and you can only buy the coffee capsules online or in their shop. Not selling it well, am i???

thanks mumkeemojo, thanks for the recomendation. i am willing to look into anything if someone has one and says they recommend it, does sort of put me off though if you can only buy the coffee capsules online or in their shop and not in the local supermarket with my weekly shop. but i'll read up on it. i have just been looking on the john lewis site for info etc up to now
