a hound club has given us classes....id like to go, but refuse to enter under the judge as I would never value her opinion it seems pointless! However could I enter a puppy in av puppy withou going in the breed classes? There is no puppy class scheduled for my breed, just a  special yearling class.

Yes, puppies need not enter breed classes if there is no puppy class scheduled.

Not sure though if they can then go forward to BPIS in a Group run show???

Yes you can go into AV Puppy without going into your breed class.. AND... if the AV classes are done before the group, then you can go into the group and go forward for BIS.

I did this with Brogue and he won his AV class, I didnt have him entered into the breed classes as there were only Graduate and Open (he had Just turned 6 months) we also took Best Puppy in Group and went on to challenge for BPIS
