If it brightens up this afternoon Charly (my daughter) her boyfriend and I are going over to Borley, one of the most haunted places in England.
Tomorrow is when the nun makes herself visible and you get crowds of people there so would rather go today if we can but if not will go tomorrow instead and brave the crowds.
We go once or twice a year and have always either seen or felt something.
So lets hope it brightens up later and the nun puts in an early appearence

I have never heard of Borley...what is the history of the nun and what makes tomorrow the day she makes herself visible ?

We have Lewes near here which also is supposed to have a dark history although i went on a haunted evening once and didn't feel a thing...maybe i'm just not "in tune" although a true believer in the afterlife.

wooowwwww sounds great i'd love something like that but my 11 year old would not like it he'd be scared so would give that one a miss for now,

I'd love to go to somewhere like that!  Is Borley where there's a Rectory thats haunted?  It seems to ring a bell.

My hubby would love to spend a night in a haunted house but i'm not to sure on that one

I thought Borley Rectory was destroyed but the land where it was still has strange things happening there?

what a shame I missed this thread and didn't post earlier.It was the ideal opportunity for you help that poor woman to go where she should have been a long time ago.If you go again,whether you see her or not,say a prayer for her spirit to leave this earth and go to the light.You don't need to say it out loud,she'll understand.She's stuck between two worlds.One day someone will do the same for you if neccesary.

We was very dissapointed, its the first time we have ever been there and experienced nothing. We were greeted by some cat when we got there who didn't leave our side the whole time and saw us back to the car at the end, but that is all we found this time. LOL

Aww thats disapointing, mind you maybe the cat was warding off spirits that day :-)  Like you said next time you may be luckier, hope so.
