I bought her for agility and shes marvellous but everyone needs to wear ear protectors as she is so excited she screams :) I know its not her fault as its fun for her but does anyone else have this problem???

can depend on the breed of dog you have. my min schnauzer bitch is very noisy when playing or getting excited but my TT bitch is pretty quiet most the time apart from the odd high pitched bark .

Oh gosh yes - my old dog Jaff (now 14 and retired from agility much to his dismay) was extremely vocal at agility!

Do you mean your dog is noisy when they are doing agility or watching another do agility at training or in the queue at a show?

If it's the latter, the only thing that pacified Jaff was a toy in his mouth which he would chew on producing huge amounts of foamy saliva - yuck! If it's when your dog is actually doing agility, it's likely they are getting annoyed at your ability to keep up with them! Try encouraging them to work ahead by using toys at the end of a row of jumps and giving a "go on" command.

Watching them at crufts this year some were so excited you could hardly hear. Others silent!
I talk a lot when excited too.

True she is known around the neighbourhood for being vocal even on walkies :)
