My husband and I wish to purchase a puppy next year (April)
and would appreciate advice how to go about this please.
The reason for 'next year' is because we are going abroad in
March. We have had dogs all our married lives but having
lost our dog last year have given ourselves a break but are
now feeling the time is right to have another dog as we are
missing the company very much (and the exercise).

Ideally we would like to be able to choose a puppy on our return in
April.
