hi does anyone know what age toplife puppy milk can be fed from??? My friend is hand rearing a litter now aged two weeks and is currently using royal canin puppy milk but wonders if anyone has used this??

according to their website although it doesn't state an age, it says it can be used when weaning...HTH

We have just hand reared a puppy on 4fl oz cool boiled water, 4fl oz carnation evaporated milk, one egg yolk and a teaspoon of glucose powder. We fed every three hours and he has done fantastic on this recipie. He is eight weeks old now and leaves us for his new home on Friday.

I would not change the formula that your friend is already using - the puppies' systems are obviously adapting to this and I would not therefore change it!   I would however start weaning early, rather than going onto another milk formula.

We hand reared using Royal Canin puppy milk with super results.  Wouldn't change to another milk as it'll probably upset the puppies.  In my opinion you can't beat Royal Canin milk, certainly much better than Lactol and Welpi, must admit never heard of Toplife.

yes best to stick to the one she is already using .
you can get toplife in supermarkets in little cartons,  you can get it in adlut form too. , i think its ok as an extra drink but not to hand rear a litter on at such a young age.
