Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Change of registration number after gaining Stud Book number

Hi,

My dog has gained her Stud Book number, and the certificate arrived yesterday.  Do I need to change her registration number as logged on places from the one on her existing paperwork (AH XXXXXXXX to the one given on the certificate or not?

You just carry on using the original reg number :)

I changed all mine to the stud book number

Once you have got your stud book number you are supposed to use it instead of the original KC registered number, so I'm afraid you should change it.

Have always just used the KC reg number and never had a problem.
