I have been told from another breeder that if a maiden bitch is being used its advised to get help from a guy or might even be a woman known as the mate man as complications with the bitch.
This other breeder is near to the Manchester area. If anyone knows of this mate person can you let me know. Infact if anyone knows anything about them what they do etc I would be grateful. xx

I'm sorry but your post is not very clear - are you the owner of the maiden bitch?   Is the dog also a maiden?   Are you (or the owner of the bitch/dog) experienced breeders?

Normally it is the owner of the bitch that holds the bitch's head if necessary whilst the owner of the dog assists the dog and both owners hold to keep the tie.

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you explain exactly what the problem is? A mating is managed by the owners of the bitch and the dog, who control their own animals.

I believe he's called 'The S**g Man' and does the rounds in the Midlands.
It is claimed he can get any dog to mate and his services are much in demand.

I'm afraid I don't know who this person is as I've never had use for any such person.

It's Mick and he's the Mate Man.  I had a Pom that didn't have a clue and Mick managed to get him to be used and we had a wonderful pup from him.  There are actually people who come from abroad to use their dogs he's that popular.  PM me and I'll give you his details or alternatively the guy who does the talks on breeding etc. knows of him to.

He's really good with the dogs and have to say the dogs are so calm and not bothered at all.  I've actually used his services (don't take that the wrong way) a few times now, takes the worry out of it!   You just take both of the dogs, you will hold onto your girl and if there are any problems he will assist.

Know as Mick the Mater, he lives in Crewe and you take the dog and the bitch to him. He assists the dog if there are any problems. He is brilliant with first time dogs especially. He is so calm he puts your dog at ease straight away. PM me for telephone number.
