anyone out there advise on steam cleaners? just a small area that it is needed for.

I've got one and love it.  Dogs live in the kitchen so comes out quite often and I just love the smell of the room afterwards.

what type do you use?

my sil has a polti which she swears by, I have a karcher but have had problems with it so would probably go for a differentmake next time. Very useful things though. What are you planning to clean with it ?

only slab stones.

Either of those will work fine on slabs I work expect.

just had a thought, is it a pressure washer or steam washer that I should use?
- By furriefriends Date 02.07.09 11:25 UTC
AAhh  if its the outside I would be looking for a jet wash (pressure wash) I have one of those too also a karcher works fine and you canget them quite cheaply now B and Q and the like.

I have a Dirt Devil Steam Genie, sorry I haven't replied earlier, blooming Virgin, had no phone for days, internet for days and TV was only down for 2!  I love it and although it would do your paving stones it's not really built for that.  Does my tiling floor in the kitchen brilliantly and cleans all the sides etc. and the place just smells sooo clean afterwards without the use of any chemicals.
