Hi to all hope someone shall be able to offer some sound advice ... as the story goes this is for an aquantance of mine that does not have internet service at the mo. As the story goes owner of a rottweiler bitch had to rush off abroad in an emergency for an unexpected funeral. has the story goes she had to place her dog in kennels not her normal kennel as they were full, on her return and the next day realising that the bitch in question had a few fleas something that this dog has never had, the owner is bathing her and fine combing her but she is besides herself with worry as this bitch is 6 weeks plus pregnant and the owner is searching for some sound advice on what to do to get rid of the pests, i did not feel comfortable in giving any advice  as in my day they allways said no to any flea treatments for a pregnant bitch if any one knows of a modern day safe treatment for this poor dog i would very much appreciate your advice to pass on thankyou to allin advance this poor woman is besides herself.

Marianne is right.  I actually used it last year on a pregnant bitch, after advice from my vet.  He said it was the only safe treatment.  This is NOT the spot on - it's the spray only.  My bitch was sprayed with it, and whelped no problems.
