What has happened to the price!  Yesterday they were reasonable - today they are asking silly money!  Am I looking at the same thing?  Don't look again because I am sure that the more hits they get the higher the price.  I have looked at books before and sometimes saved them.  Next time I go to look they have gone up in price.

It's just that the lowest price ones in the marketplace section have sold.  Sometimes there is only 1 copy at a very low price and once it's gone it alters the price range dramatically.  You have to buy quickly and don't tell anyone they're there! :)

I see - but some of them are asking over £30 for the book - who do they think is going to pay that price when you can get it for £13 new!  Unless it is a signed copy maybe.
