My cavalier Cindyloo was diagnosed with SM and hydrocefalous at the begining of the year and the water tablets she was on have made little difference she is now slightly incontinent so has to wear nappies at times.  I spoke to her neurologist and he has advised she should have the shunt operation and I am just wondering if anyone else has had it performed on there dog.  As you can understand I am rather worried and would love to chat with anyone who has an oppinion on this before I make up my mind

Sorry that your cav is going through this, can't even begin to imagine what this is doing to do and her.
What did the neurologist say about the pro's and con's for having this op? What are the chances of a recovery?

I don't know really anything about what your girl has but wondered what the specialist has said to you about if if much at all...
