I REALLY want to get one of these for both of my dogs, but they are a bit too expensive for my pooch budget.  (£53 each for the XL).

Has anyone got them and used them?  Are they really as good as they look?  And also, any cheaper alternatives about?

Are these the ones that you wet with water, but they don't get the coat wet?  If so, yes I have them & have been very happy with them so far (I've had them a year).  I use them on days like today if I have to do the school run with the dogs, the Spanish get quite warm in this heat & it seems to cool them immediately.

You can always adapt it to become a dog coat.

A friend with rotties uses the reflective type of cool coats and they work very well. I can't see her OH splasing out £53 on them. I'll ask which ones she has.

I have them for my cavaliers and I am very happy with them but they are a little expensive they sell scarfs for people for £15 could you get them one of them each and use it round the necks to try and help cooling your dogs .

Mine are 2 Bullies so need the XL size.
