I've got a number of bird feeders in the garden and it's lovely watching the little birds. However, I am now getting inundated with crows.

Does anyone know of any feeders I can use that the little birds can feed from but the larger crows can't? I'm not sure if they'd still be able to feed from the cage-type squirrel proof feeders? What I've got now are just the basic seed and peanut feeders.

We had this trouble so I made my own feeders from fat and seed in small pots and tied these to the spindly branches that the crows were to big for. I use ordinary seed feeders too and put those on slight branches and this seems to stop them. The little birds dont seem affected.

I did make the Crows some big ones and tie these to the branches, but they are sooo greedy I couldn't keep up with the demand or amount of visitors I was getting!

That's the problem isn't it. I don't actually mind feeding them, but in the blink of an eye all the feeders are empty! Will try the homemade pots and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.

It's mice that gobble all mine! I've looked out the window to see a little field mouse scaling the bird table and munching in to the peanut feeder lol

As my cats sit at the bottom waiting for it to come down...

I have a squirrel that hangs by his feet over the edge of the roof to get to the peanut feeder! My cocker goes potty but said squirrell knows he cant be reached and just carrys on regardless!
