Feeling so sad this afternoon.  Spent a lovely doggie weekend with my mum (as dog mad as me) and she rang me at lunchtime today in tears to say she'd just spent half an hour looking for her neighbour's (old friends of mine too) young collie cross.  Mum, sadly, was the one to find her dead at the side of the railway which backs onto their gardens.   Just wanted to say rip little one, her young owners are totally devastated.  :-(
