I have been adding to my blog over the weeks but I am so pleased with our agility lesson this morning that I feel that I must post it here.  I am now using a small sqeaker toy and tuggie to get her attention.  Have been teaching ' ready' in the house using the sqeaker and then having a good play session as suggested by my trainer.  Only used it once this morning.  Meg only wandered off once.  She stayed focussed for the rest of the time - a big big improvement.  My trainer threw the tuggie toy at the end of the run and Meg brought it back to us and was ready to go again.  She is getting her contacts well - as long as my timing is good!  She only sits and waits for a short time but it is all progress.  Next step is to get her focussed in a class - will get the chance in a couple of weeks time.  I am so glad I started these individual lessons - grateful to my friend who introduced me to the trainer - and grateful for her quiet calm teaching.
