Does anyone know any farmers who grow beetroot in large quanties. All replies welcome.
Why don't you ask at your local market garden shop ? They may know the farmers and who grows what .

I remember years ago I had been skining beetroot and put the skins in the bin. Pup stole the skins. VERY strange coloured poo next day. looked like he was heamoriging

My friend & I watched her dog having a very red poo. On our way back to the carpark we were beside ourselves with worry as to what illness could cause this. Then she remembered giving her pilchards in tomato sauce.
I love beetroot in a sandwich (wholemeal bread). Didn't know it was used for animal fodder.
