hi we have a almost four yeard old staffie and she has developed a rash and small bald patches as if she has been threw into a stinnging nettle bush with pink pimples over her belly and legs . been to vets for treatment a few times had antibiotics steriods creams and washes but it calms down then re-apears .she's well in her self and tommorrow she's going for blood tests and a scin scrape anyone had similar expirences who could offer any advise on what this could be as me and my wife are at our wits end ?. is she allergic to anything etc as up untill a few weeks ago she was a tough little cookie with no problems it's a good job we have insurance please help if thee is any.   adam.

Sounds like an allergy.
Perhaps ask the vet to take some blood to test for allergies it may give you the answers you are looking for.
My dog had allergy tests and surprisingly what I thought was the problem wasn't it was something totally different he reacted to.

got results back allergic to house and dust mites . making a vacine up could take six weeks but given loads of tablets and vet's claiming direct for us as i no the owner.

One of my dogs allergies is house dust mite so I now vacuum daily and I invested in a steam cleaner that i now use throughout the house including sofas, beds etc at least once a month to keep house dust mites to a minimum.

do' the steam cleaner work? has your dog's condition improved?.

Yes the steam cleaner does work.   My dog has numerous other allergies too though, but i did see a big difference during the winter months when he was inside.
