My girl got up before and her back end was all wet and as she moved off she seemed to leak a little puddle of urine. It was as if she was unaware of it, and it was dripping out rather than pouring, and stopped almost instantly.I took her out for a pee but she didnt want to. She is day 52 now and other than that she seems fine, puppies are wriggling away, but I just wanted to make sure that it was nothing to worry about.

A similar thing happened to my bitch a few weeks ago (when she was about 7 weeks in whelp) I took her to vet who diagnosed a mild water infection she had anitibiotics and it never leaked again!!  all pups and mum are fine

It's normal for the bitch in late pregnancy to leak urine, due to the pressure of the growing pups on her bladder.

Have to say that after 6 kids myself I can empathise with that problem! Thanks for the help ladies.
