My Henry turned 7 at the Easter weekend, and celebrated his birthday by coming 3rd in an AV Veteran class at an open show, which I was very pleased at. Last weekend he went even better by winning the AV Veteran class at a companion show! I've heard judges often go for the oldest dogs, and also at a companion show you are up against all the larger dogs and collie crosses which age so superbly well, which my breed doesn't particularly, so I was very pleased to win it at 7 years 3 weeks! :-)
