Just wanted to wish anyone who`s going over the next 4 days GOOD LUCK!

I`ll be there Saturday with Tangle.

Good Luck to all and your doggies
- By MADDOG [gb] Date 07.05.09 09:40 UTC
Hope you have a good day Saturday.  Think I'm there tomorrow, got a migraine brewing & I'm not sure what day of the week it is right at the moment.  Also think we're 2nd in the ring so the journey's going to be fun!

Right, painkillers then bath a dog......
- By crinklecut [gb] Date 07.05.09 13:29 UTC
I will be there tomorrow with pup. Also second in the ring but I will get there early in the hope of settling the little monster. He has never been on a bench before so that may take a while.
Good luck to all who are going.

Look out for me Lisakom, I'll be the one dragging a sleeping Leo around the ring on the end of a lead! He's got the attention span of a small aubergine and does so love his sleep!!

Good luck

Ive just watched a dog win a class, a CC and BOB, and it was so nervous that the judge couldnt go over it, she just had to stand back and watch it quaking and shaking :( :( :( I am disgusted!
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 07.05.09 15:17 UTC
Can't believe that, PM me the breed Sam!

I'm there tomorrow with my totally matted Spanish whose coat has just decided to turn to felt.  So BIG clip on Saturday.  Bathing her shortly.

Hope you are feeling better tomorrow Caroline and yep we are second in after Weimeraner's.  I'm pleased because for the first time in ages I have a girl to show so I'm not in the first classes :)

> the attention span of a small aubergine and does so love his sleep!!

lmao.....

I will look out for you unless you see me first being dragged round the place by a giant ball of white Velcro, probably with sticks, leaves and mud all over him (and me).

I suddenly have a vision of the kiddies program "what a mess" lol
- By Lisakom [gb] Date 07.05.09 16:01 UTC
Maddog...... Hope the migraine has eased......

I hope you got the bathing and the pain killers round the right way lol !

Good luck tomorrow

Sam, this also happened in some breeds at Crufts, not saying that they got BOB, but they won their classes..
That to be is not a good sign, nervousness i thought is something which is not or shouldn't be tolerated in the show ring.
- By peanuts [gb] Date 07.05.09 16:32 UTC
I have seen it many times with a breed in the Utility Group , backing away from the judge , can't look in the mouth , spinning on the end of the lead , not standing up but crouching, and winning CC's and BOB's.

I can understand the odd puppy being a bit nervous but not dogs and bitches in Limit & Open.

I am going saturday with my Leo, after 2 1/2 years showing i still get so nervious before i hit the ring, best of luck to you suzieq, is it yours and your pups first champ show outing?
- By susieq [gb] Date 07.05.09 19:17 UTC
Yes, and I'm terrified!!  I'll share my hip flask with you!!  We're in minor puppy (ha, 8 stone, hardly minor!), and can't wait to meet everyone - were you at the club show?
- By Teri Date 07.05.09 19:46 UTC
Good luck to everyone showing or just going for a look over the next few days :)
- By briedog [gb] Date 07.05.09 21:27 UTC

- By yrlance Date 08.05.09 10:46 UTC
We are in the Leo ring after you then PD, its an early start so my boy will also be very tired...
Just have fun and enjoy it, i always get the jitters before i go in the ring too.
Good Luck to all hope the sun shines.
- By abraham [gb] Date 08.05.09 13:22 UTC
Perhaps all of us showing saturday should do a sun dance?

Boy, was it blowing today!!!! Really chuffed, my Millie moo was 4th in special beginners stakes today with over 20 dogs in the ring. The judge was lovely and complemented Millie on her structure and movement, just wants her eyes to darken ( well she is only just 12 months!!) whats even better is that this judge is judging our club champ show in a months time!!! Must make sure I am wearing the same outfit!!! lol
- By briedog [gb] Date 09.05.09 06:16 UTC
well done, so glad after watching the fcr in the bitter wind that we went inside at 1pm to show the spanish water dog,
so proud of ghille get res best dog,
and tangle getting best bitch,

the dog that won best dog and best of breed well worth his win has he been out of the ring for a while but he showed and shine on the day well done.
- By suejaw Date 09.05.09 16:35 UTC
Was anyone there today watching the GSD?
It appears from the results that some places were held back.
PGD - 5 entries, 2 abs - only 2 dogs placed.
PGB - 8 entries, 4 abs - only 3 dogs placed.
- By Lisakom [gb] Date 09.05.09 20:23 UTC

- By brac Date 09.05.09 21:05 UTC

I walked past you a couple of times Terri but you were deep in conversation & you wouldn't have had a clue who I was as I was helping someone with GSP's!
- By briedog [gb] Date 09.05.09 21:11 UTC
