Jess and Em have been having a great run in handling and Jess got her first BJH at Windsor last month.

This weekend they were under John Allen (whose daughters are very succesful JH!) at South of England Agricultural show and Jess got 1st in 6-11, Emily 2nd (again handling a borrowed doggy!).

Jess then got BJH for the day.

As this show is over two days she then went in for BJH in Show and WON!!!  (Despite Connor trying to nobble her chances by playing up but she had checked the judges position on entering the ring and had Connor placed ready whereas the other lad entered as normal even though he swapped round in time).

She was delighted and I am one very proud mum too!

Wow well done both girls!!!  Very proud mummy moment! :-D

Will have to trip 'em up sadly at the next show (grooming bags at dawn, Rachel!)  as Emily will be back out - think she's borrowing a TT though :-O

Thanks CJ x

Tee hee - grooming bags at dawn it is then LOL!  Hopefully my Em will have a dog to borrow again too :)

Will introduce you to James at Guildford if he is there as he does the club you asked about - its on a Tuesday but not every Tuesday - that's all I have!!!

Well done your girls, bet they are very chuffed and winning under Mr Allen.. Yes i know at least one of his daughters(as you know)....

Jess needs to have huge puppy cuddles from Bosley... He is ready and waiting!!!

And of course Emily coming second, we can't all be first can we?? Well done to her also..

If i don't see you friday then i'll be at Plumpton with the boys for their fun show!!!
- By rachelsetters Date 06.05.09 12:44 UTC
Thanks Sue - think Friday is on - Em was asking for a friend to come over but I mentioned Berner baby cuddles and she dropped the idea very fast LOL!  Think Em will be trying to trip her sister up soon xx

What time is Plumpton?
- By suejaw Date 06.05.09 13:07 UTC
I think Plumpton starts at 09.00 as in the whole show opens then, one sec and i'll grab my flyer..

No wrong... It opens at 10.00 until 17.00...
I was there 2yrs ago and the dog show started about an hour later as they have to try and get all entries in..Free to under 16's.. Adults is £5...
Note to self - they have wine tasting there.. Hmmm. Now trying to figure who i can get to drive me and the boys there... Haha...

Website is: www.plumpton.ac.uk.....

Can't get onto the website as its down right now.. Technical Errors...

Rachel, how about getting another dog which she can handle?? Hehe..

You have mentioned someone close by with puppies, or how about another breed?
- By MADDOG [gb] Date 07.05.09 08:49 UTC
Here's a tip - get her her own dog hee hee (ok, JennyB put me up to that one honest ;-))

See you at SE Gundog next I suppose.
- By rachelsetters Date 07.05.09 08:53 UTC
CJ - no need to take the bait is there!!!

More and more people keep saying it - even suggestions of a small dog so Ken won't notice - he might not but Angus would LOL!

You at Guildford???  If not SofE GD it is then :)
- By rachelsetters Date 07.05.09 08:54 UTC
Stop it you lot!!!  No more dogs at the mo - these 4 are enough of a handle for me thank you :) :)

James is at Guildford he's stewarding for the JH judge :)

He's an ace trainer :) Helped me loads but out of it now and is helping my little sister alot too :)

Are you at training camp this year?

PS. Your daughter is most welcome to handle any of my dogs, i have an american cocker and field spaniels. :)
- By rachelsetters Date 07.05.09 09:28 UTC
Hi there :) James and Jenny teach both my girls they are superb and so calm and encouraging :)

Both girls attending camp - taking Connor for Jess (as usual) and hoping Maxy will behave himself for Em - I don't show him anymore after a tail injury hence why he isn't available at shows for her!  Although maybe after camp she can give him a go?

Thank you for the offer of dogs - I might take you up on that as we have had a few where she hasn't had one to handle.
