It's a long time since I put any brags on here....come to that, its a long since we attended a show!
But yesterday, there was a companion show in aid of Beardie Rescue/Essex Air ambulance, and we went along, taking Loki, Freya (aka Fanny Fatpants) and No 1 son's puppy (who is only 12 weeks old, but just for socialisation in arms). Dyssi enjoyed the fuss that was made of her - then went to sleep in OH's arms. Freya ambled around the gun dog & sporting class and enjoyed herself, but that was that. Loki (who is now 10 years old) entered the non-sporting class -a biggish class - and came 5th! We put her in veterans, and she got a 2nd!! So we were really chuffed with that - she hasn't forgotten what she had to do.
Today No 1 son went to Sudbury Town show with a friend and again took pup plus Loki. And Loki did it again! Out of a class of 18, non-sporting, there was a cut of 10, and she was placed 5th. And in veteran, again she took 2nd!!
Once a showgirl, always a showgirl!
Well Done Margot, her 'mum' would be very proud of her.. :-) (Her 'human' Granny is, I have just told her)...
Get her trimmed up and out to some veteran classes !!!
(((Hugs)))
