Topic Dog Boards / General / Miniature pinscher breeder..Teeside?????Maybe.

I have just 'aquired' a male min pin from the Stockton area.
Although the previous owner supplied all vacc and microchip certs I did not obtain a pedigree or registration for him.
He, apparently, has had a broken leg as a pup as well according to the owners.

He is a Stag red male, approximately 2.5-3years, neutered and chipped.
Named Stanley.

The previous owner, who gave him to me, said they got him at about 5 months old from the breeder. I'm presuming he was 'run on' and as he is over height then they rehomed him as a youngster.
I do have the name of the previous owner if anyone thinks they may have bred him.

I just wanted to update his breeder as to his whereabouts.

Can't help you on this but all i can say is well done on trying to track the breeder/s.

Could the previous owners not tell/give you any info on the breeders at all?

Maybe if you don't get anywhere on here to contact the breed club for breeders in that area?

Anyway good luck and hope you have many happy years with your new MinPin..

Hi Dawn

it's very thoughtful of you to try and get hold of this lad's breeders - I'm sure they will appreciate it :)

Sometimes dogs are purchased from areas significantly far off from where they are destined to live so it may be that his breeder is at the opposite end of the country even although you got him in the Stockton area

Try contacting the secretary of The Miniature Pinscher Club with the same info posted here, s/he may be able to trace his breeders or if they have a breed forum put the info on there so that word goes out more widely to your target audience :)

HTH,
good luck with him, Teri

Hi,

I did ask for the breeders name but to be honest the lady and gentleman were very upset at having to give him up.
He has been very well looked after. A bit too well to be honest.
I have her email so I might get in touch, send some pics etc, and ask again.
He's been here a few weeks now. He originally went to my daughters as she has 'small' dogs but one of hers wouldn't accept him and kept giving him a hiding.
He is here now among my Rottie, Staffy and old tyme and he is getting on fine.
I often have to tell the staff and bully to be careful as they may 'break Stanley', by knocking him over, but that is while they play with each other. They are very careful if they actually play with him and just let him jump on them.
I know that if I bred him I would rather know that he is still in a loving home although not the home I sent him to.

Heck I still know where some of my rat kittens are at 3 years old!!!!!!!
