I just wondered if anyone has heard of this - http://www.landofholisticpets.co.uk/robbie_dog_food_ingredients.htm

It looks pretty good to me but I'm a real novice to all this dog food lark and on a STEEP learning curve!

Looks fine to me but I always think you pay a premium for the word "holistic" on anything when nobody can ever say what the logic is in applying the term.  All food is holistic it seems to me.  What bit of the dog isn't going to benefit! :-D

Hi mumofpip

I know several people who use this brand and are really happy with it - they show, work and do agility with their dogs and are delighted with over all condition.  Some have been put onto it because of GI problems with more commonly encountered cheaper foods/ingredients etc.

Since your new addition potentially has a sensitive tummy however, you will have to ensure beforehand that if he does have issues with certain ingredients this range doesn't contain them so while worth taking note of it, don't jump in too soon :)

regards, Teri

Thanks very much both of you!

Teri, just to reassure you I'm not planning to jump in too soon, I'm just checking out my options now so once we know what problem Pip has with her tummy we'll have a good idea of what food we can use on her.  Thanks too for your detailed response to my other message, much appreciated.
