I have been using Olay Complete Care with an SPF of 15 , but now Summer is here (!) i want a moisturiser with as high an SPF as possible .  I don't want to use a separate sun-lotion as it makes me spotty.
Finances are a problem at the moment so it needs to be fairly cheap . So what can you recommend ?

Liz Earle's range is IMO very good both for quality and price point and also Laura Geller'sMoisture Compound is quite light with high SPF and not too pricey - type into google and a few sources come up :)

TBH I think a lot of high street brands are much of a muchness unless paying out quite a bit more.  Clinique and if I remember rightly YSL have nicely textured ranges without that 'cloggy' feel too.

I don't like to use sun screen only on my face either - it just feels greasy and sticky IMO.

Hi,
I too can get very spotty if i use moisturiser as well as sunscreen. The combined one i use is Clarins Day Lotion which has an SPF 15, not sure that they do anything with a higher SPF, otherwise i would of bagged that myself.

Just trying to think of any other brands, which are not too oily., Ooh just been on Clarins website and they do a few with SPF 20, will be checking those out this week me thinks.

Ah another one from Elemis: Has an SPF 30

You really are making me think about going shopping for new cream!! Love it, Elemis is great stuff and is used in many treatment salons.

I read somewhere (cannot remember the source) that it is a waste of time as it ruins the efficacy of the moisturiser and that simply putting a separate SPF suncream over your usual moisturiser was pointless, the thing to do was just to wear the SPF suncream.  This is what I do and I find Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect SPF 25 for face really good and not at all greasy.
