Sorry if this has been posted on before.

Just wonder how many people will be forking out for Honda's New Dog Friendly Car?

Not too sure I'd like my dog in the glove compartment!

12V rear ventilation fan I doubt that would keep a car cool enough on a hot summers day for a dog

As Shania Twain once said, 'That don't impress me much' - when it comes to cars I'm afraid I'm often swayed by looks and that doesn't do it for me!

Also, I hate the idea of a dog in the glove compartment - just doesn't seem right! My OH's car has air conditioning in the boot apparently designed for dogs. Just a shame he kicks up a fuss if I want to take the dogs out in it.

only the dog ramp impresses me! and that's only because I have a C4 and Khan needs a 'bum boost' to get in! A dog friendly car unfortunately is not on my priority list as yet! If I had a choice it wouldn't be a honda!!

I'm sure I have seen dog ramps in somewhere like Halfords. I have to give Megan a bum boost into my car as well!

I don't really know how powerful it would need to be to keep a car properly ventilated.  I wonder what the police use.  Whatever it is, I am sure you could have it fitted to any vehicle if you wanted.  I don't think you need to buy them ready fitted.

Dear Alice C,

I've avoided buying a ramp as it's something else to store and you never know Khan may well become independent at getting in the car........... but then again!!!

hmmm, if it wasn't so damn ugly I might be tempted.  the bane of my life is the dog smell attached to the carpets and soft furnishings in the car - despite having rubber matting and regularly changing the vet bed so these hard looking floors would be a godsend after taking 2 mutts to the beach.

The doggy day bed is braw and I like hondas but it is uuuuuggggly!

My OH had a Pajero and it had extra air con in the back (boot area) Was not designed with dogs in mind, it was for the extra passengers it could carry back there. We just removed those extra seats and hey presto doggie heaven. The space was large enough for a very large crate with air con included. We had to let it go because of the high insurance cost being an import and low miles per gallon.

just see tangle in the glove dept  gollie in the back seat crate ,the fcr are to big for the back space and if it was blue in there she would have chew that up in seconds
