HI, this is difficult to explain i have a 2 yr old bitch who has a few sores, 1 on each paw at the top of her toes 1 on her leg and 1 on her elbow.
now they are smaller than a penny in size, slightly raised and bald, the few hairs on there or around them almost seem as if they might be ingrowing? or the follicle may be infected? if you squeeze the hair shoots out in very small clumps, like 4 or 5 hairs attached but at the base where it came out of the pollicle the hairs are clumped together, not single and have a brown type of gunk sticking them together.
now in general apart from the baldness it isnt sore as such (a small amount of licking) and it isnt weeping or look nasty its just odd. anyone have any clues?
