Can't help i'm afraid but all the best in getting help for the NM.. Such a shame that the dog has been put through this..
Good Luck.

Have you tried
Neapolitan Mastiff Welfare & RescueCo-ordinator Anita Bailey, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
Tel: 01945-774281 Email: anita@dalnarck.co.uk

Thanks been trying that since last night, cant ge thold of anyone.. need as many contacts a poss.

There's
this one too, but I don't know how 'official' they are. They don't seem to be a registered charity, so I'd be cautious.
ETA: I've also found this contact name:
Neapolitan Mastiff Welfare rescue co-ordinator, Jaq Bunn on 01732 766603 (office hours only) or e-Mail mastinowelfare@btinternet.com.

Thanks, will pass it on... all help is needed, this is a serious case , and needs someone who knows the breed!!

thanks for posting this Jackbox..xx
ok the story so far, I talked to denise bucknall from the neapolitan mastiff club this morning, after which I felt quite possitive, I talked to jackie this afternoon, and felt a tad disheartened, but all is not lost yet,
we have to take her to the vet this afternoon, will let you all known how that goes, then I guess I will talk to the breed rescue again and see where it goes from there,
thanks everyone for the help with this, I may need more before Im finished...
x

Hi Shona
Had seen the situation over on the other place this morning but haven't been back online since. Fair play to you for taking this girl on...she's in very safe hands with you ;-) Fingers crossed for a happy ending all round.

thanks shaynlola,
shes ok here just now, the vet has seen her, given her some AB's for the infection in her legs, I will worm her in a day or two, shes to be seen and have her weight checked again in a week, she has two small lumps in her teats, but appart from that, she seems ok, shes a canny lass so far, shown no signs of having any temprament issues, shes quite loving really, shes had my cat stalking her all day and shes fine with him...lol. shes great with other dogs, has shown no food aggression issues so far, shes just a big dopey lass. x
Spoke to any breeders? dalnarck or rayvonley, passionate breeders can often help out.

I think rescue , are now offering help.
So fingers crossed.... this girl needs a little TLC ..mind she is getting more than enough of that at Shonas at the mo... but breed experts will always be beneficial.
Poor girl it breaks your heart to see her in the condition she is, and is being so grateful for all the attention she is receiving
Bless her, typical molosser temperament though tbh, someone could beat and starve them but they would still crave affection. Hope she finds a good home and gets fed up and loved.

Your very right she does crave affection, shes finding it hard being in the kennel, shes in season at the moment, I have two male rotties here who have been used at stud so they know the ropes, so sadly she cant be indoors all the time just now, she hates the kennel, Im rotating the dogs so she is getting time indoors with us through the day, but its not as much time as I would like to give her.
things will be so much better when she's finished her season and she can come indoors.
