Identitags - online.
Small, lightweight and clearly readable and sent by return of post.
Excellent I think.

These are great, really quick response and very good quality.

We got our first ones from Pets at Home, they have a tag making machine. When they passed their GC awards, we bought the little tags from the KC and had them engraved with the details.

These seem to last forever with the dep engraving and black lettering.  The only thing is I ahve lost a couple when the split rings ahve worn, which makes me mad as some of mine (three I think) are good as new after 9 years.

oh dont get me wrong i would love to buy all my dogs one of these, however i know this would tip the O.H over the edge as it is unnecassary bling and unlike most other stuff where i can lie to him and make up a "perfectly valid reason" for the new toys every week, new lead new collars etc... im not sure i would quite get away with this one

Had a bone shaped one but Zuma was snoozing in his crate (door open) rolled over and got the bone hooked in side of the crate...........Panic..........so now he has one of the flat ones that slide onto his house collar. Got it from 'indigo tags'

i got mine from the Guide dog catoaloge as they are the type that fit onto the coller so you never lose them.
They are not cheap but well worth the extra ( about 8.50 each ) after engraving. IMO.

Gosh that's expensive, you can get the same thing from Identitags for £4.95 including engraving & postage !

I prefer the indigo tags ones, they have a lifetime guarantee, mine have had them for years and even after regular swimming in the sea they still look like new.

I got all mine from Pets at Home, Megan has a blue bone, Samoui has a silver bone and Pixie has a pink heart. All to match their collars of course. They have lasted very well so far and were not expensive.

Indigo tags for me as well-they are brilliant-always look like new.I had a horrible experience with a dangly tag once when one of my BSD's got it caught in a radiator by the side of the bed while I was out, lucky I wasn't gone long.Collar tags are by far the safest.
- By loucon [gb] Date 23.03.09 21:32 UTC
I got my dog tags also on ebay, engraved in with the price and am please with the match in colour with the collar
- By Cindyloos Mum [gb] Date 24.03.09 20:59 UTC
Thanks for all the help I am interested in what an African collar is as I would like to get them all new collars leads and tag preferably all matching.  I am thinking Milo may not appreciate pink so an alternative may have to be found for him.

I've just got some from Tagiffany - ordered them at Crufts and got them yesterday and they look great.

Would highly recommend these: http://www.mygooddogtags.com/

Very good quality and delivered pretty fast considering they are made up to your order.

The etching is very deep and clear and they can put all sorts of designs on it for you.
