What carpet cleaner do you use for your puppy's little and large accidents during toilet training. Last time we had a puppy we lived in the states and I used something called Nature's Miracle and miracle it was. You can get it over here but it's #43.00 for a gallon. Have you any recommendations for something somewhat less pricey?

When my dog was poorly recently and chose to 'go' on my cream dressing room carpet (of all places - she went in the kitchen and bathroom too with hard floors but saved the worst of it for the nice carpeted room!) I obviously cleared as much of the mess up as I could, then boiled the kettle, sprinkled washing powder over the stains and poured the boiling water over. Worked a treat for me and better than any carpet cleaner I've ever bought (cheaper too).

Simple Solution spray(from PAH) is brilliant as is Simple Solution Oxysolution which is a powder-it worked a treat when my puppy raided the fridge(ripping the fridge lock off first!)then exploded all over the landing carpet during the night-nice!

I wash first with biological washing powder then spray with Febreze pet odour eliminator. Got it from Asda.

White vinegar diluted in water works very well.

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at simple solution on Saturday I think it's probably the same as nature's miracle. I almost bought shares in Nature's miracle after my poor girly had explosive diarrhoea all over the master bedroom's cream shag pile at my friend's beach house! they had lent us the house for 2 weeks and I spent the first week tending to the carpet and making midnight excursions to the vets! But the carpet was clean and smell free by the time we left! Oh and the dog was fine too:-)
